Album of the Week

MUSE

Black Holes and Revelations

Muse returns with the perfect blend of pop hooks, raunchy guitars, and experimental electronics. The vocals on their latest album dance a fine line between Rufus Wainwright and Queen, a line no one knew existed. Personal highlights are the raucuous, post-house "Map of the Problematique" and eerie, yet operatic, "Exo-Politics."

The Christening of Electric Johnson

Thus begins my journey into the world of blogging. For too long i have sat idly back, viewing blogs from afar. "Nevermore," quoth the lonely fowl, and a boisterous "amen," says i. I plan for this blog to be a place where nothing is tabboo, where all opinions (save mine) are listened to equally. I'm a lover of the arts, the humanities, and all things in between. Hopefully as i explore my own opinions, and publish them for the world (or some random lonely kid in Ohio) to read, lines can be smudged and holiness can be muddied a bit. I'm wrong quite a bit, but i'm honest, and that has to count for something. So enter one and all, leave your gloves at the door, and be prepared to get a bit messy.
